Celebration 4th of July
Dina Carrion Foundation celebrated 4th of July in Nicaragua with all the children in a very special place, the restaurant La Vista del Ángel with its majestic view towards the volcano. These natural environment, and Jack the mascot of the foundation, was perfect to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression and anger for the victims. In addition, Nicaraguan singer-songwriter Gabriela Baca Vaughan brought a bit of peace and love with her famous “Chocoyito” melodies, “Espiral de Luz” (theme co-produced duet with the singer Guatemalan Devorah Rahel) and the “Happy Birthday” song dedicated to two of the children’s birthday. Moreover, “Chupita” the clown donated her artistic skills and conquered the hearts and affection of the children, who ran out to meet her on their arrival to the restaurant. The children enjoyed a delicious lunch, games, and music with these special friends. The foundation wants to give a special thanks to all who helped those angels to forget for a moment the sadness of losing their mothers, and all together they felt like normal children again.
